Aside from advertising, personal sales and direct marketing, I have also used publicity to help grow brand equity. By building good relations with various publications I was able to land features, interviews, record reviews and general coverage in LA Weekly, URB Magazine, XLR8R, Mixmag, Resident Advisor, Big UP Magazine and numerous blog-style sites dedicated to the niche techno market.
